About YoursBible
YoursBible publishes practical, beautifully laid-out PDF guidebooks for people who like to make, grow and prepare things themselves.
We organise our guides into complete collections we call Bibles: one for macramé, one for crochet, one for herbal remedies, one for homesteading and one for emergency preparedness. Each collection is designed to take a beginner from first steps to confident, independent projects, with a clear reading order and plenty of step-by-step photos, patterns, recipes and checklists.
What we believe
- Skills beat gadgets. Knowing how to knot a plant hanger, preserve a harvest or store safe drinking water is worth more than any subscription.
- Learning should be affordable. Every guide is a one-time purchase that you keep forever.
- Print is still useful. Our PDFs read well on a phone but are designed to be printed and kept beside you while you work.
Our five collections
- The Macramé Bible: knots, wall hangings, plant hangers, bags, jewelry, clothing, garden pieces and seasonal décor.
- The Crochet Bible: stitches, pattern reading, Tunisian crochet, amigurumi and more than forty projects.
- The Herbal Remedies Bible: herbalism basics, a 50-plant encyclopedia, teas, salves, tinctures and whole-food recipes.
- The Homesteader’s Bible: planning a homestead, greenhouse and container growing, chickens, canning and fermenting.
- The Prepper’s Survival Bible: water, food storage, shelter, fire, fishing, foraging and household emergency plans.
Portuguese-speaking readers can find the macramé collection in Brazilian Portuguese as A Bíblia do Macramê, and anyone who wants everything can get the Complete YoursBible Library in a single download.
How we choose what goes into a guide
Every guide is built around doing, not reading about doing. Craft guides list materials, cord or yarn quantities and step-by-step instructions with photos. Kitchen and homestead guides give quantities, times and the safety steps that matter. Preparedness guides focus on plans you can put in place this weekend. Where a topic touches health, food safety or personal safety, we point you to current official guidance and keep claims modest.
We also publish free how-to articles in our guides section, covering questions like which macramé knots to learn first, how much water to store per person and when to use a pressure canner instead of a water bath.
